Nestled in a historic 400-year-old building, this accommodation seamlessly blends value and essential comforts. Upon arrival, we were greeted warmly by Neil, whose hospitality set a welcoming tone. The room was adequately comfortable, featuring a flat-screen TV and reliable Wi-Fi, catering to modern traveler needs without ostentation. The shower facilities were also satisfactory, providing necessary amenities for a restful visit. Situated centrally, the hotel is a convenient base for theatre and local attractions. The continental breakfast, complemented by exceptionally good coffee, ensured we started our day on the right note. While the luxury may be modest, the Queens Head provides remarkable value for anyone seeking a connected, historical experience.
